Built by teachers,for teachers

TeachPlan was born from the frustration of spreadsheet planning and the vision of what teaching tools could be. We're on a mission to give every NSW educator the planning tools they deserve.

Our Story

TeachPlan started in 2024 when a group of NSW educators and technologists came together with a shared frustration: why were teachers still using spreadsheets and paper planners in 2024?

We saw colleagues spending hours every week copying and pasting syllabus outcomes, manually tracking coverage in complex spreadsheets, and struggling to share resources with their faculties. There had to be a better way.

So we built TeachPlan - a purpose-built planning tool designed specifically for NSW educators. Every feature reflects our deep understanding of the NSW curriculum and the realities of classroom teaching.

Today, TeachPlan helps thousands of teachers across NSW plan more effectively, track their curriculum coverage automatically, and collaborate seamlessly with their colleagues. And we're just getting started.

Our Values

The principles that guide everything we build.

Teacher-First Design

Every feature we build starts with the question: "How does this help teachers?" We prioritize simplicity and effectiveness over feature bloat.

Curriculum Excellence

We deeply understand the NSW curriculum and build tools that make syllabus alignment intuitive, not tedious.

Respect for Time

Teachers are busy. We design every interaction to be as fast and frictionless as possible, saving you precious time.

Community Driven

TeachPlan is built in collaboration with educators. Your feedback directly shapes our product roadmap.
